Assembly of 33+ companies cluster to take part in New York Home Fashions Market
New York – It’s not news that Portuguese home textiles companies will be at New York Home Fashions Market next week with myriad new products for the U.S. consumer.
But what is different for this season is their new show of force.
New York Home Fashions Market has long been the preferred U.S. venue among Portuguese manufacturers. And as that penchant continues to grow, this market is attracting the largest-to-date group of suppliers, prompting the Home From Portugal textiles association, “to give more visibility to the Portuguese presence in New York,” said Maria da Graça Freitas, senior trade officer of the Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency – which is working with the association for market week.
As such, Home From Portugal has assembled more than 33 Portuguese home textiles manufacturers to present their newest wares at several venues around Manhattan, she explained to HTT.
